Type II MERV 13 Air Intake Filter.

Will surpass MERV 13 rating to remove approximately 90%+ of most all outdoor air particulate. Meets most recent US EPA recommendations (MERV 13)  for air intake filtration. This filter has an extended service life of 24 to 48  months. Flows 150-200 CFM. It is ideal for outdoor filter locations that are of inconvenient access. Includes 180 pleats of first-quality filter material for a total of 1800 square inches of filter area. Easily installs in SmartVentilation's Aluminum Filterbox FBII for surface mounting on an exterior wall. Installs over 4-6" round air intake opening to keep all ducts remarkably clean. This filter is an excellent addition to air intakes of ventilating dehumidifiers, ERVs, and HRVs which often have only internal, small capacity, low-performance intake filters that are inconvenient, and difficult to service. Quick, easy installation, retrofit for replacement of high maintenance, homemade filters (blue polyester fluff and hog's hair) For the reason it is accessible only from out of doors, it does not meet new ASHRAE Standard 62.2-2019 requiring filters to be accessible from indoors. Daisy Ductless Type III filter does meet such ASHRAE Standards for indoor access when used with the Daisy Ductless and Daisy Deuce ventilation modules (especially in high-rise buildings)
